About Sustain our Nation
Sustain our Nation (SoN) is a competition for young designers that seeks to encourage innovation to address the issues of Ageing population, Health, Finance, Crime, Energy & Climate change, via the creation of social enterprises through design. The aim is to catalyse solutions that address these national issues at a local level, working with communities to deliver sustainable change.
SoN is keen to encourage designers to work with local stakeholders to identify which of the themes are most relevant to the local community and how these might be addressed in a sustainable way through design led social enterprise.
To help to transform creative ideas into social innovation through social enterprise we have provided case studies, design resources and enterprise planning that will support designers in the realisation of their proposals throughout the process.
