Overview
By 2020, close to half the adult population of Europe will be over 50 (Coleman, 1993), and one third of the inhabitants of the United States will be over 55 (Mueller, 2003). Older people will outnumber teenagers in the future, impacting every area of life. They will become the largest and most influential group on the planet.
